                                                                   HOLI FESTIVAL

Holi is a festival of religious origin that is celebrated mainly in India an other countries where large Hindu communities live as Nepal, Sri Lanka, Malaysia. The events is also known as the sprint festival, as it celebrates the end of the winter season.

Today, Holi symbolizes a relationship between different social classes within the Hindu culture itself. Men and women celebrate this holiday together;the rich and the poor paint each other.

During the celebration, people paint themselves and throw colored powders called Gulal, offering images full of color and joy.

India is an expensive trip, but i would like to save and go with my sister. We really like the Hindu culture, if we were we would like to be two weeks to see the festival and know a little more about the Hindu culture.
